Lantallian GX-Class Exec. Transport by boomerangmouth Lantallian GX-Class Exec. Transport by boomerangmouth
The Lantallian GX-Class Executive Transport was developed during the days of the Old Republic to ferry the rich and famous throughout the galaxy. In order to ensure the high class passengers' safety, it had a spacious hyperdrive-enabled escape pod mounted to the ship's underside.

The comfort of the passengers (and appealing to their refined dispositions) was paramount in its design. As a result, the passenger and crew areas of the ship are entirely separate, removing the need for the two to interact at all.

---

I saw this ship in The Clone Wars cartoon and absolutely had to plan it out for a small-scale RP a couple of friends and I are playing out.

Sources claim it's a GX-1 Short Hauler (and comparing the exteriors, they look pretty similar), but established deckplans either weren't to a satisfactory scale or didn't show the same ship that was seen in the show.

Most of the design of this is based on screen captures (of which only the escape pod access, cockpit, and adjoining compartment was visible).

I would love to know where you found the Top-down render of the ship. Great Deckplan

Hmmmm I'm looking and I can't find the top-down anywhere! I found the entry for the Phoenix, but it just has a picture of it landed.

Where do you find a good library for star wars style deckplans, with things like speeder bikes?

I stumbled across something ages ago where I downloaded a lot of map items from... can't find it anymore though. You wanna be looking in the direction of the old Wizards of the Coast Star Wars minis game though, I think...

Yes, it appears that the Phoenix appears to be a different subclass of the Short Hauler. This is great work! Just one thing: shouldn't there be a ramp or ladder that leads to the lower deck with the attached executive lifepod?

Thanks for agreeing with me there! Ther IS a ladder that leads down to the lower deck, placed beneath the removable floor panel in the corridor leading towards the cockpit from the passenger lounge.

I er.. forgot to label it, but it's that square floor panel. Heh.
